What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“My goals for this game include a full campaign with voice-acted story, at least two dozen unique demons, lots of extra playable levels for added variety, more unlockable player items and more secret areas / easter eggs to be found.

I'm also planning on using Early Access to garnish more feedback from players and make changes to the game accordingly. I want to make the best game I possibly can and Early Access will allow me to continue to work on my product, receive feedback, and see it through to completion.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Til it's perfect, pretty much. This is an absurdly ambitious project for one person to attempt. Early Access launch date is still 5-10 years away”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will increase the following quantities:
Playable levels (current 1, desired 18)
Demons in the game (current 8, desired 30+)
Secret areas, hidden things, Easter eggs, types of enemies, voice acting and dialogue, etc.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Early Access is set to release between 2028 and 2032 and is currently being worked on and improved every single day by 100% of the employees at Bad Cop Worse Cop Studios. Majority of the features listed in the "About This" section are already implemented and most of what still needs doing are content creation and level building.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No idea. Full release is still very far away”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I stream development of this game live on Twitch when I can and take feedback anywhere I can get it

About This Game

In active development since 2016, this is a first-person strategy game about summoning demons and herding them around like terrible cats to topple a civilization one castle at a time and finally become the new king, all to appease the guy who already did all that and now spends his time making people learn his tale.

The game plays entirely in first-person as you re-live the Demonarch's story of conquest, which is why you are not allowed to ever fight or build anything - he never did either, being too busy keeping demons happy and escorting them around. Demons don't take orders, of course, so your only way to lead a charge is by going in first.

Your only defense is the element of surprise. Nobody knows about your invasion until you let witnesses escape. And nobody knows you're the demon summoner either, unless they see you feed or summon one and live to spread the news.

Made by a single disabled Army veteran over 7+ years and 40,000+ Eyes of the Tiger by Survivor, as one does.
